Mail Your Photos or send images on disc Via US Postal Mail.
For extra protection, I suggest you insure your photos when sent through the postal system. US Post Office Priority Mail ($5) takes 2 to 3 days anywhere within the USA. The post office supplies this envelop for free. However, Fed-X is more trustworthy. Postal prices are on the PRICES page.
"Suggested" packaging:
1.) Place actual photos in a plastic zip-top bag or wrapped in plastic kitchen wrap. Place between 2 pieces of thick cardboard. Make sure the cardboard is cut at least 1 inch larger than your photograph on all four sides. Tape the edges. (If your photo is stuck to glass, skip the plastic.)
2.) On the cardboard sandwiching your photo, print your name, address and phone number in case it becomes opened and separated in the US Mail, then they still have your address. If sending a DVD or CD, then write this info on the disk ( this also helps us keep track of your disk at our end! )
3.) You can choose to use a box, or cut cardboard, or a purchased cardboard Photo Mailer (which is good for CD's). Sometimes photo mailers are thick and so the interior cardboard pieces we suggested above are not necessary.4.) On the outside of the final mailing piece write "Photographs DO NOT BEND" on the cover. This can go to the left or right of our address - under the postage usually.
5.) Mail your package using any of these; "US postal Priority Mail", FedEx, UPS or whichever carrier you desire. Besides helping to ensure that your photos arrive safely, each of the aforementioned mailing services give you a method of tracking your package. Priority Mail with post office is a FLAT rate of about $5.00 and takes 2 to 3 days within the USA. Fed-X is the most trustworthy.Mail Photos to:

Is there more than one piece to your torn photo?
Send ALL the pieces including the frame if you cannot remove it, regardless how small the pieces areIs your photo stuck to glass?
DO NOT attempt to separate it... this will most likely cause irreparable damage. Begin by carefully removing any loose, broken glass that isn't adhering to your photo. Any glass that is adhering should be left where it's at. Sandwich it and tape it between two pieces of cardboard. What if I don't mail them and also don't have a scanner?
You can obtain a quality digital scan of your photos at most local Copy Shops, Photo Stores, or from a friend with a scanner. (Maybe OfficeMax, Staples, or Fed-X / Kinko's.) Simply request that they be scanned at 600 to 1200 DPI. Please scan at FULL COLOR for Black & White photos! Call for any specifics requirements based on your needs (512) 619-1155. You will receive a CD (or DVD), which you can then mail.
